YOSHIAKI YUKI
H: 63”(160cm) x W:35” (90cm) YOSHIAKI YUKI, 2011
gallery gen cordially invites you to join us in this year’s prestigious Sculptural Objects and Functional Art - SOFA New York exhibition.
We hope that you will be inspired by the latest body of work by Yoshiaki Yuki. This will be the installation of seven sculptural screens (below) loosely inspired by the theme “SO-TEN-KO-CHI” [where the Heavens and the Earth intersect]. Four screens titled “GO-RIN” representing the “Five Earthly Elements” (earth, fire, wind, water, sky); and three screens titled “NICHI-RIN” or the “Sun Rings”representing the heavenly sun, the moon, and the stars.
